Three-Letter Words

Doing the crossword this morning over breakfast.

Me (thinking aloud): Bean, what's a fragrant tree, three letters, middle letter is an I?
Bean: Poo.
Me: While fragrant and three letters, it is not a tree. Nor does it have I as the middle letter. Good guess, though.

Big events for the weekend:

• New light fixtures for the master bedroom and eat-in kitchen area.
  
• Old master bedroom fixture being moved into office.
  
• Curtain rods and curtains in boys' bedroom.
  
• Hallway cabinets sanded and painted white.
  
• Hallway walls painted beige (same color as living room - not my first choice, but we won't live here forever).
• My Emma and her younger brother might spend some time with us Sunday afternoon while Husband goes to work.

Seriously, I know you're jealous. Know what we did tonight? Cruised Lowe's and Target and made a quick trip to the grocery store for milk and dog food! Wild. To top off the night, I'll nurse a baby and peruse the Stampin' Up catalog and continue to read my trashy YA fiction novels.

Oh, and Bean went to the doctor today. He's complained his ears the last couple days on and off. His ears are fine. He also whines about his eyes when he cries (apparently the tears freak him out), but they looked at those too. He's fine, just dramatic.
